Good day! It’s such a joyous day, today I got started on building the dormitory for the orphans!
I’m smarter than I thought I was. It was a 50 x 40 lot but thanks to the random idea of keeping the blocks as 10 x 8 they were all able to turn out nicely and I got the shapes I wanted and imagined in the end. It was so much fun! Probably the most fun I’ve had building in a while.
Edit: I tried fitting in the four blocks… should I transfer this lot to a 50 by 50 lot?
Since block thirteen is cursed, and the school was renovated I had to think and arrange the blocks in a way it will make block thirteen and those close to it seem more isolated than the rest.
With the number of orphans attending MMHM increasing, the blocks were expanded and moved from downstairs.
The dorm has grown from back then into this.
Obviously this is just the shell build. I will fill in the blank spaces with more room for the academy. I will probably move 5 and four over to make room so I can create a hallway with arches. The left side/ west side of the school… not much will be built in its place. I’m thinking of barring off the area to the west wing with jail bars…
Because of the superstition no one will ever want to go to the west side and will shun the blocks close to block thirteen.
I’m wondering how crazy I should go with the arches….
Also the empty spots you see are for the blocks to hang their laundry… Since some blocks don’t have enough space I’m thinking of making a space for them upstairs.
