Dvllg [BUILDING LOG 3]

Hey there! I know I been gone for a while, internet turned off but now it’s back.

Tried to build and I think I made a lot of progress today.

Starting with block 6.

It’s kind of isolated from everyone on the lower level, so those of block 6 keep to themselves.

The color that represents block six is white, in the story it will be referred to as “Lily Village”

Tadah! Okay it’s still not much, I actually took this pic when I hadn’t built everywhere else yet.

What it currently looks like:

To the left we have the bathroom.

Blocks 7,8,9 and 10 still haven’t been decorated or furnished but it probably won’t be necessary right now for the story.

Up ahead we have the hallway that leads to blocks 12, 13 and 14.

but before that in the hall there’s the entrance to block 11.

Within Dru’s Village, the blocks closest to thirteen are shunned and considered bad luck to mingle with, similarly so eleven also shuns those close to thirteen. But instead of mingling with 10,9,8, 7 and 6. Similarly to 6 (don’t get confused!)

For the story block eleven will be called “Black Rose Village” It’s colors are black and red. I actually kind of went overboard with the colors…

Despite being stuck in-between an unlucky place Black Rose Village is the “RICHEST” block on the bottom floor.

As mentioned before every year villagers are rewarded based off their grades and achievements.

Villagers of Black Rose and past residents of block eleven are all incredibly intelligent and hardworking they’ve always been fighting neck and neck with the upper floors (grade wise, the grants and scholarships are rewarded to everyone who does well so it’s not really a limited thing you can compete over) for prestige.

All dorms have bed, desks and mini fridges but block eleven has a huge kitchen, and a tv, also most importantly it has a second story. They do not have a bathroom though, otherwise they’d have no reason to pop their heads out of their holes. They have to use the public bathrooms you saw earlier.

Downstairs, this pic doesn’t really show the other side. Haha just realized.

Don’t wretch, I was going for a cartoonish feel where the villagers of Black Rose are all mysterious, snobby, elegantly gothic/witchy and – I just realized one of the couches is intersecting the table!

So that’s where the couch went! Was looking for it when I resized the room -_- embarrassing.

But yes, block eleven is a special place the residents of block eleven hold a special relationship with block thirteen and know more than they let on. That kind of thing… Their hobbies are alchemy, reading and painting.

Anyway as you can see there’s a stairwell beside the fireplace that leads down to the open areas.

As mentioned before the open areas are sections for the villagers to do their laundry, gardening and outdoor activities.

Block eleven has two other exits. Block eleven doesn’t use the left one, that area is where block twelve will garden and do their laundry, they avoid interacting with them so they use the right door.

And…here’s upstairs. It’s a hot mess, I know. I wanted it to be crazy but also dark. And once again I don’t have enough interesting clutter but it’s fine, because it’s not like I’ll have sims that will be actually using the facilities due to limited sim amount…

Hahaha… I’m writing this at midnight so if I laugh a lot bear with me.

Next door on the upper floor we have block 4! The color that represents them is pastel yellow and brown. All upper floors are in pastel colors by the way.

I will definitely have to go fiddle with block four because I’m still unsatisfied with the bed placement I also didn’t place the little japanese stove that comes with the kotatsu.

I may expand their gardening area because most of it is occupied by work benches.

The villagers of block four– ah, during the story it will be referred to as “House Daffodil (Village).” Hmmm… I’m thinking of adding a hen house for their block so they can produce eggs. Yes! That’s how I can properly utilize those fences muahaha!

House Daffodil, the lowkey house of MVPs behind every popular club there’s at least one member of House Daffodil behind the scenes. Block four villages are good at building things and are tomboys, they are the black sheep of the upper floor blocks in a sense that they aren’t as elegant.

There’s a tiny window that connects block four to eleven and the two blocks exchange information.

Yes… block four is the only house that doesn’t mind getting close to the block thirteen upper area, but they will steer clear of the area at night. Since they have a perfect outdoor view of the block and talking to block eleven they know some things about how the “bad luck” works and is spread.

Also can you believe while building the area I got scared? Even though block thirteen is just a shell. It’s really so silly -_- it’s probably because it’s so late at night.

Anyway moving on. You can scroll back up, the block with the gingham walls is block three. It’s called “Village of Silver Lining”

It’s not furnished yet but they will be the only block with bathtubs to compensate for their small space. The residents of block three are cottage core girls but there aren’t many rooms for them so they are few in number. Similarly to block three, these girls are low key. They are cottage girls, their hobbies are baking, gardening and usually have an animal companion. They also like animals and will probably be raising some…hmm, their block is the smallest on the upper floor though.

The upper floors are very nice. They have toilets, showers and even a sauna, and tubs.

Similarly to blocks 10,9,8 and 7- blocks 1,2,3 and four are very close to each other they run into each other more often and mingle.

Blocks one and two have a rivalry. One is elitist and two is competitive.

On second thought, I think I will add another story to blocks one and two. They’re supposed to be richer than block eleven so I should give them enough facilities to compete lol.

As you can see block two has a green door. The colors that represent this place are mint green, brown and red.

They are the block obsessed with knitting, gardening and painting. I’ll call them Rose Village for now. They’re artsy Chics.

Originally Black Rose Village was going to call itself Rose, but the name got taken so they had to compromise.

They will be using their fenced area for gardening, I think when I add another story, I’ll move their beds and knitting desks upstairs and make downstairs a kitchen.

For block one… I really didn’t do much yet but add some beds and a fish tank.

Block one is the block of perfection. Their colors are white and pink. Their name…. “Porcelain Peony Palace.”

The villagers of block one prioritized their grades and that’s how they came to be the richest block overtime. Girls from this block either excel at all things, but if you were to come across, they’d be doing either one of the following: playing chess, playing an instrument, reading or practicing ballet.

Block one girls carry an air of elegance and mystique.

The rivalry between block one and two started when they fell for the same male teacher, and before they knew it, they began to compete over everything. The future generations would similarly always find something to beef over.

Yes. Sounds like a good enough reason to me.

I did decorate block twelve but I forgot to take a screen shot so meh. another time. It’s a block with only two rooms but it has a kitchen. It’s walls are pink, orange and yellow but let’s say it’s colors are orange. Wait, no. Sherbet colors! Let’s call it Sherbet City Village. The villagers have a sense of humor hehe…

Then there’s block fourteen. Brown, boring and dull.

They say block fourteen was added but the block itself is just an old building.

Let’s call it… “Rusty Penny village”(I originally thought of rust as something Zoeira would come up with, but Penny also sounds quite nice) for now. The girls have nothing in common hobby wise, but they’re all- well most of them are hardworking both in their studies, jobs and clubs, unlike most blocks they don’t talk to each other much but they cooperate with each other. These girls can often be seen alone. Like block twelve, block fourteen is a tiny village, but still has more room than twelve. Block twelve is probably the smallest village periodt but it has a kitchen so that makes it better than block fourteen.

So Notes To Self:

Blocks(Village names + color) and summary:

  1. Porcelain Peony Palace (PPP) – allrounders, logical and musical.
  2. Rose Village – artsy girls, knitting, gardening and painting.
  3. Silver Lining Village- cottagecore girls, they like nature, plants, and animals.
  4. House Daffodil- Tomboys, these girls like building and fixing stuff and raising produce.
  5. – hoe crap there is no village five! I turned village five into the sauna and shower room -_- Hmmm I think I will put it somewhere on a separate lot so that will make for interesting gameplay as well. Ugh wait… but if 5 is alone… due to overpopulation have to be outside in tents? Yeeees, a challenge where they live outside in tents because all the rooms are full that sounds wonderful. With their grants and money they earn they gradually build their way up becoming a true village! Spells for a nicer challenge than starting from room fourteen to be honest. I guess I will be writing a split pov sims 4 story, so I will need to create another new girl!
  6. Lily Village- Simple girls, they like chilling outside and enjoy cleaning, writing and swimming.

7. Clover Village- recycling, fishing, and photography.

8. Pretzel Village- orange brown and white, making canned foods, collecting items(mostly coupons) and watching movies.

9. Lavender Village – lavender and cyan, science girls who like making beauty products, inventions and doing yoga.

10. Tree House Village- red, yellow, brown. -_- These girls enjoy cooking, camping and adventure.

11. Black Rose Village- reading, alchemy and baking.

12. Sherbet City Village-pink,orange,yellow- programming, cooking, baking

14. Rusty Penny Village- hardworking loners.

I wanted to hurry up and go to sleep but right now I actually wanna hop back on the sims and start creating some orphans. -_-

Also if any of you are creating some cute male sims that’d be nice too. Since MMHM has a huge campus, the small colleges and schools near it use the school facilities to they will be visiting the lots(in the world)

Also I’m annoyed. I highlighted everything in corresponding colors but it only shows the highlights as yellow.

SLLL log 2 [END]

[Bush acquired!]

The bush smelled like piss sadly because it was.

With nowhere else to relieve themselves privately the twins were stuck. So they pooled their assets together to buy a bush from WWG.

– That day the twins immediately got to work. Lapis searching for crystals and Lazuli collecting frogs and fishes.

On the second day they earned enough to buy a tarp shower.

So began their desert hustle.

With a bush, a tarp shower and a tent their essential needs were met. The girls could finally breathe a little easier.

Or at least so Lazuli thought.

With their registry with the WWG they could start attending a school again. It was more like school outside and in tents.

The additional workload combined with the commute to school, back and having to live with the natural elements, it all began to take a toll on Lapis who became utterly miserable.

Even homework became a chore for her.

Lazuli was unaffected, although she was a city girl, she had always spent more time outside tending to the garden with her Aunt and glamping. An indoor kitten like her sister who never camped a day in her life was bound to get uncomfortable.

There was a cute and simple radio being sold for $50 at the cupcake(WWG) stand, when Lazuli saw it she bought it right away.

Her sister didn’t care for it at first but eventually she found herself chilling outside listening to the music that made her remember the beauty of the great outdoors.

Lapis decided then, she would grind the hardest she could to build themselves a home. She took up many new hobbies, flower selling, photography but it was painting that raked in the dough. A talent she never thought she had, her artworks compared to her Mother’s was always ridiculed and criticized but to the world it was something.

Lazuli quit fishing and eventually resorted to growing and selling flowers.

DISCLAIMER: So. I played ahead and was planning on writing about the rest of this series, but because of the annoying one drive, the pictures and videos I took while playing weren’t saved. Not only that… my dumb butt accidentally cleaned the cache file that had my progress saved and so the game reset back to the beginning point. All their skills and simoleons they saved up GONE.

Why I’m not starting over:

I was playing this to a survival type where they (teens) start on their lot with nothing but a tent and zero simoleons and they had to find money by interacting with their environment and or getting a job, it actually took me a while to afford enough as I had eventually gotten them a house, it wasn’t fully decorated or painted or anything but it was a house, and they began to live with other homeless kids, also I was about to age up Lapis and Lazuli into young adults, they were both almost done with their aspiration. So… I’m mad. At myself. For wasting my own time.

So yeah, dropping this story for now. If I start again… it’ll probably be a youtube playthrough instead I think, at least what happened will be seen versus on paper will have nothing else to show for it.

You can find me on Youtube as Phoebe’s Convenience… I don’t really have much on my channel at the moment.
