I was already subbed to Felixandre when I had to revisit their page to download a lot of woodsy furniture.

The build I’m going for is refurbished vintage. Then I stumbled across Harrie’s side on houseofharlix.com and came across Harrie’s spoon collection.

The Villages: Planning draft Part [TWO]

The story starts a long time after an incident.

It’s said there are thirteen blocks in Druscilla’s Villages. But-

1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 14.

For reasons unknown there is no thirteenth.

I haven’t decided the main story but I have slept on some ideas for a while now.

This story will be about the life of orphans, and friendships between them. I’d like to add some horror but its hard finding bloodstains cc and bloody clothing online. It’s easy to find bloody makeup though and injury poses.

I’ve been looking for related poses when I stumbled across this modder, God bless her.

Sadly I can’t afford much, much less the 3.50 she’s asking as a pledge. But she deserves it.

NAMES FOR CHARACTERS/ Me brainistorming on the spot

Zoeira– (meaning: noise/unwanted noise/ joke or prank?) The name randomly came to mind but when I looked it up. Ahhhh here’s some definitions. Copy, paste, abracadabra!

  1. noise (various sounds, usually unwanted)
  2. (colloquialmockery; the act of mocking
  3. (colloquial) a playful lie told with the intent of quickly revealing the truth afterwards

I had a redhead in mind, particularly this picture of the power puff girls re-imagined.

Although an orphan she was popular once maybe, she tried to fit in until it backfired? Maybe she was a bully. Well not a bully but a mean girl, if tested you’d get a black eye…

Maybe a close friend got bullied and took her life? No, let’s make it a sister, maybe she got news that her sister who was separated from her got bullied at her new school and took her life? Maybe her adoptive parents dropped off some of her sister’s belongings. Yes.

Her younger sister wrote a will, all the money, she was given as an allowance, worked for, she bought her sister some clothes and accessories too. She felt guilty being the only one that was adopted.

Among the items was her sister’s diary- the parents probably dumped it on her because it was too hard to keep, and Zoeira learns that her sister was bullied. She was a gentle and naive kid who never adapted to the orphanage’s environment so Zoeira was thankful she got taken away from it all but… seeing how sister felt made her begin to emphathize with those she victimized.

Maybe she got bullied next when she tried to defy the system? Yes, I can see it now her orphanage was for tough little girls that smiled at your face but bitched and bullied when the adults weren’t looking.

Of course there’s fire in her so she didn’t let herself get bullied, no she fought back, raised some hell and eventually got sent away to MMHM. She’s determined to move on and live as her sister wanted her to but she regrets how someone she loved was placed in the shoes of someone she tormented…?

I wonder… me writing all this here takes away from the story when you finally read it doesn’t it? Mmm whatevs.

Amy Claire – Zoeira’s new roommate, she seems personally acquainted with Ms. Cherry, Zoeira’s favorite counselor/adult person.

Ms. Cherry– her name is Cher Applace, but she prefers the name Zoeira coined Ms. Cherry. The supervisor of block fourteen, she’s a counselor, her job is to check up on girls and council them about their future, but also make sure they follow the rules.

Kathleen

Zoeira’s victim or “Zoe’s bottom bitch” as the others so often referred to her as. The nature of their relationship was being a bread shuttle. Zoeira would send her out on errands, humiliate by making fun of her appearance and pranks, but she wasn’t anywhere near as violent as the other girls so she stuck to Zoeira.

Until suddenly Zoeira changed her tune, the moment she left she was at the mercy of the other girls. Suddenly she had a bright idea, why not do the same thing as Zoeira? If she started a big enough fight the orphanage would send her away.

The Villages: New sims 4 tale planning – Part [ONE]

SLLL was short lived but I’m planning on spinning a new tale about a reform school for disobedient young ladies/ kids or maybe even a home for orphans.

I wanted it to be a survival playthrough one involved with horror and some sort of dire risk you know that could end up with the girls getting into trouble.

Sadly, the max number of sims you can have on one lot is eight. So, I’m thinking of teleporting sims onto the lot to make the place look more populated.

There’s also the annoying thing of having teen sims have to go to school. Things can get super annoying…but we need challenges to make the game interesting!

I’ll try to introduce the characters before I start… the log , log wasn’t really a log, I’m going to write it more like a diary or a status report.

The name of the academy is Mary Magdalene’s Home for Misfits also known as MMHM… fun fact when talked about it, students of MMHM prefer to pronounce it as a bare hum. “Mhmm.” instead of spelling out the letters M. M. H. M.

Within MMHM there’s a dormitory called “Druscilla’s Village for Lost Little Girls.” It’s a place where they send orphans that age out the system and/ or 14 + yr olds that suddenly become orphans or emancipated kids.

Within Druscilla’s Village or Dru’s Village there’s a system. The girls are separated into areas referred to as “villages.”

The Villages(/Blocks) –

The girls are split up into blocks. Tiny rooms/houses built in a square formation.

The name of the villages change depending on the students, so the school refers to the villages by block numbers.

As orphans, they have no guardian to rely on. So the orphans work for the school. They clean the main buildings, cook in cafeteria and manage student run stores under the guise of clubs.

They also receive grants and scholarship based off their grades and activities.

MMHM is located next door to other schools and small colleges so events are often held on MMHM due to its large campus.

During school events the orphans as well as other students are allowed to open stalls to sell their wares to visitors, fellow teachers, and students.

Each block rotates duties (work) every day. They are assigned different days to work at the main building. Those not assigned to the main building are left to look after their own building, specifically their own blocks.

Cleaning- cleaning the academy public facilities like the dining hall, bathrooms etc.

Cooking- cooking meals for breakfast, lunch, brunch, dinner and or prepping.

Harvesting- gardening and restocking ingredients in kitchen.

With this system the girls learn to be self-sufficient, and build up their savings. Also if something isn’t done, they will know which house was responsible and hold each other responsible as a collective.

Each year villages with the most achievements and highest grades are rewarded with a lump some of money.

[Bush acquired!]

The bush smelled like piss sadly because it was.

With nowhere else to relieve themselves privately the twins were stuck. So they pooled their assets together to buy a bush from WWG.

– That day the twins immediately got to work. Lapis searching for crystals and Lazuli collecting frogs and fishes.

On the second day they earned enough to buy a tarp shower.

So began their desert hustle.

With a bush, a tarp shower and a tent their essential needs were met. The girls could finally breathe a little easier.

Or at least so Lazuli thought.

With their registry with the WWG they could start attending a school again. It was more like school outside and in tents.

The additional workload combined with the commute to school, back and having to live with the natural elements, it all began to take a toll on Lapis who became utterly miserable.

Even homework became a chore for her.

Lazuli was unaffected, although she was a city girl, she had always spent more time outside tending to the garden with her Aunt and glamping. An indoor kitten like her sister who never camped a day in her life was bound to get uncomfortable.

There was a cute and simple radio being sold for $50 at the cupcake(WWG) stand, when Lazuli saw it she bought it right away.

Her sister didn’t care for it at first but eventually she found herself chilling outside listening to the music that made her remember the beauty of the great outdoors.

Lapis decided then, she would grind the hardest she could to build themselves a home. She took up many new hobbies, flower selling, photography but it was painting that raked in the dough. A talent she never thought she had, her artworks compared to her Mother’s was always ridiculed and criticized but to the world it was something.

Lazuli quit fishing and eventually resorted to growing and selling flowers.

DISCLAIMER: So. I played ahead and was planning on writing about the rest of this series, but because of the annoying one drive, the pictures and videos I took while playing weren’t saved. Not only that… my dumb butt accidentally cleaned the cache file that had my progress saved and so the game reset back to the beginning point. All their skills and simoleons they saved up GONE.

Why I’m not starting over:

I was playing this to a survival type where they (teens) start on their lot with nothing but a tent and zero simoleons and they had to find money by interacting with their environment and or getting a job, it actually took me a while to afford enough as I had eventually gotten them a house, it wasn’t fully decorated or painted or anything but it was a house, and they began to live with other homeless kids, also I was about to age up Lapis and Lazuli into young adults, they were both almost done with their aspiration. So… I’m mad. At myself. For wasting my own time.

So yeah, dropping this story for now. If I start again… it’ll probably be a youtube playthrough instead I think, at least what happened will be seen versus on paper will have nothing else to show for it.

Survival Logs of Lapis and Lazuli

Lapis wrinkled her nose at the earthy mess before her eyes. She had found a wild strawberry bush and attempted to uproot it… but… she’s pretty sure she yanked off its upper half in the process.

“It’d be simple and easy.” How to Survive in the Wilderness 101 Tips claimed. “It’d be fun.”

Clearly uprooting plants took a lot more finesse than she had initially anticipated as so far, every plant she’s tried to take back to their camp, have all lost their heads.

“Have mercy, your majesty!” Her younger twin sister, Lazuli pleaded contempt dripping from her eyes as she simply plucked fruits and flowers she found, bundling them up with the hem of her dress.

Lapis was beginning to feel sorry for the plants but seeing her sister’s stupid face made her sympathy fade and she threw a corpse at her instead.

“Don’t get mad when you’ve never had the talent.” Her sister walked back to their tent unfazed.

Lapis made a face.

Okay, so maybe she was a bit too optimistic about procuring resources once they left the capital.

But everything would work out soon, she just knew it.

Even though they lost their jeep in quicksand and nearly sunk to their deaths, it was for the best.

They’d be harder to track on foot. Thankfully, the only thing they were able to save was the bag containing their tents and some tools.

Lapis shook her trusty hammer chisel and wandered around the area.

The landmarks of abandoned diners and parks told her what this place must’ve been once. A pitstop for cars and nothing else. Sand, rock and the occasional patch of green, not to mention there was a narrow stream wrapping itself around the area.

At the very least, they would have fish to eat. But…the twins hated fish. Particularly the raw taste, with the seasonings they lost they’d be in for some misery, but they’d live.

Just as she had hoped her day was rather productive, even if it took all her energy. She found chrysanthemum, daisies, two frogs, two crystals and a time capsule buried in the sand. Inside was an antique toy,

In the end, the best haul of all was an isolated cupcake stall with a tiny garden of carrots, lemons, sage and flowers beyond waiting to be picked.

“Are you with the Worldwide Guild?” She asked the clerk as she inspected the stall. She had read before that the WWG had issued a new mandate to provide trade centers in poverty-stricken areas, but she had yet to see any building structures other than a tiny house across the street from them and the ruins of a diner.

The stall itself was far too immaculate and in new condition to be anything but WWG’s handiwork. But oddly enough she didn’t see any runes etched into the structure. Was the booth an artifice itself?

“That is correct!” The clerk was chipper, Lapis couldn’t tell whether it’s because she looked like she had money or because she had probably yet to see a resident here in years.

Her Old Man only had nasty things about WWG, but truth was it was the only godsend for the poor. Which unfortunately was her. She never thought she’d see the day she’d be so hard pressed to go against her Father’s programming to run away much less buy something from a food stall.

“I’d like to sell something.”

Lapis shared her findings with her sister and they sold all their finds.

Lapis ended up with $134 dollars and Lazuli eighty-five, twenty-five of which she spent on some pasta.

It was never a contest, but Lapis couldn’t help feeling smug about her results. She ordered ten-dollar fish tacos to call it a night.

Model Sister Ep 1: Side B

Was that supposed to be lasagna or burnt brownies? She’d rather play it safe with the chips instead.

“Nalani?!”

Taken aback by her sudden appearance, the young woman politely smiled but before she could speak Merida’s mom noticed her.

“Hurry and go get washed up for dinner!”

Merida raised a brow her eyes widening at the untouched dish of what looked like untouched semi-burnt lasagna. Their Dad did most of the cooking in the house for a reason.

Merida looked to Nalani who was quietly eating chips.

Why did she always do things she doesn’t normally do whenever Nalani visits home?

“…Okay?” Merida forced a smile and turned to head upstairs when she bumped into her Dad.

He didn’t see her however but the lasagna on the table.

“What- he began to say but seeing Nalani at the kitchen table he silenced any form of admonishment in his throat.

“Nala.”

Nalani lifted back her head, her eyes curving as she smiled.

“Dada.”

He greeted her by wrapping an arm around her and pressing the side of his face against hers.

Her smile sweetened as she continued to chew.

But his eyes were on his wife. “Honey I forgot to tell you we’re eating out today.”

His wife’s jaw dropped, a flicker of disappointment lived but only for a second as she nodded and smiled.

“You should have told me sooner!”

“I’m sorry.”

Merida breathed out in relief.

“What?”

She ran into her sister in the hall.

“Mom was about to cook…”

Marina didn’t seem upset about being left behind at all. She raised a brow.

“So Nala IS here.”

Merida was grinning from ear to ear as she nodded.

Marina pretended not to care as she trudged towards the stairs but Meri caught her poker face cracking as she made her way hopping up each step.

Nalani Keating, their older half-sister by seven years. She didn’t speak much but her thoughtful gifts compensated, eventually, when the family learned from their Dad her modeling career had taken off the ground, the twins, Merida especially became fans and began to keep an eye out for her work.

For dinner their Father took them to “The Spot”.

An indoor-outdoor restaurant that specialized in barbeque and burgers. It’s main point of attraction was it’s double-sided pool bar; the bar itself was indoors, but the bar stools were outside.

The second point of attraction, of course, was an outdoor pool and a series of tables. Booths with umbrellas neatly placed outside, for seating with it’s comfy ice cream cone-shaped Wiccan chairs. One could sit down and fold in their legs using the sheets left behind in each chair, which is exactly what Nalani did.

The moment she sat down she looked at the menu. Her sisters followed her graceful example, finding the fuzzy blankets warm.

It was “their” spot. “Theirs” as in Nalani and their Dad. The twins had always heard about it from their conversations but they never really knew what the place was up till now.

The dinner was for the most part quiet as the family enjoyed the latin music and watched a couple step out onto the concrete clearing and begin to samba. It was beautiful. Nalani watched with a hand tucked underneath her chin completely enraptured as did their Father, and Merida.

Marina could only stuff her face. Her eyes widened at the blue cheese ranch bacon chicken burger and began to slowly chew to savor its flavor before reaching for fries covered in chives and sour cream.

The crowd whistled and cheered the couple on, and for a moment all eyes seemed to be on them.

That was, until their Mom, Larissa, perhaps not able to wait any longer, cleared her throat and decided to drop the news.

“Girls, Nalani has agreed to take you in for the summer.”

In the beginning, they didn’t hear her over the blaring music and the skill and fiery chemical exchange between the two dancers, people were pulling out their phones and trying to get a shot of the two to share on social media.

“Hello, ladies? Hubby. Stop eating Marina and look at me, are you trying to become a pig?!”

Merida heard nothing, she simply sensed something was off after a while as she finally turned to stare at her Mom who’s lips were tightly pursed.

“What’s the matter, Mom?”

Hearing the words “matter” their Dad finally left his trance, blinking he looked around. “What?”

“So now you’re all ready to listen?”

Their Dad looked at her a bit confused.

“What?”

“Tell them the thing, dear.”

His expression looked blank.

“Huh?”

Her voice hardened. “You know, the THING…Dean, come on!”

Hearing the name “Dean” Nalani looked away from the couple to the table and observed the expressions on everyone’s faces.

Marina was focused on food, Merida was bug eyed, her Father confused, and the Step-Mom looked agitated.

Finally, Larissa looked to her, her gaze pointed.

“Why don’t you tell them?”

Nalani blinked.

Dean finally caught on. Before she could answer he did.

“Ahhh. Nalani’s on break for the summer, do you girls have plans?”

The twins’ gazes became shifty before finally exchanging looks. Larissa seemed to hold a sigh from impatience as she watched him.

The twins finally spoke.

“No.”

“…No.”

“Great! Then you can spend the summer with Nalani. Your Mother and I have other plans, so we won’t be home. Make sure you pack up everything you need before you go.”

“Especially you Merida,” Larissa added. “No one will be home to send you your Mr. Freezy Buns.”

Marina snickered while Merida lowered her head and tried to hide from Nalani’s gaze who was sitting on her left.

However, Nalani wasn’t staring at her at all.

She wasn’t really staring at anything at the moment, just sitting there with her chin propped by her hand. She tended to space out a lot, during that time it was hard to not admire her grey eyes that complimented her reddish-brown skin and burnt orange hair.

After a while, she finally blinked, and quickly scanned her right side as if to make sure everyone was still there to say.

“We’ll be by the beach, so make sure you bring your swimsuits.”

Marina’s face lit up like Christmas while Merida’s rotted like a fruit in fall. Unlike her older twin, she didn’t have curvy hips and a bust to show off.

“I don’t really plan to do anything special, so if you want to go somewhere just let me know.” She fished out her phone from the pocket of her overalls hidden by her blanket shawl and tapped at the screen.

The phones of the twins beeped. They looked at the contents.

“We’ll be going to New Zealand?!”

“You didn’t say you’d be taking them out of the country!” Larissa spoke up.

Nalani raised her eyebrows and blinked at her. “Is… that a problem?” When she spoke to her Father about it on the phone he didn’t seem to care at all.

“Well…”

Larissa nudged Dean who looked indifferent. Larissa bulged out her eyes at him.

“What?”

“The girls have never left the country before. Don’t you think this is a bit… dangerous?”

“He raised a brow, I traveled the world with Nala when she was only four. It’s not that big of a deal, travelling broadens the mind, it’s nice.”

Seeing how care-free he was Larissa let out a huff and closed her eyes as she tried to maintain her composure. “Dear… but these are OUR kids.”

The twins stared.

Nalani reached for her glass of lemonade, her face was tranquil but she downed the glass while pulling out her phone to check the time.

Dean slowly turned to fully stare at Larissa. His voice quieter than before.

“Yes, Reece, they’re all my kids.”

The two hard stared at each other for a bit before Larissa finally pursed her lips and looked to her daughters hopefully.

“Girls, do you want to go?”

The twins’ gazes shifted from the loaded question. Of course, they wanted to go but if they said it they’d be betraying their Mom. It was that kind of feeling.

Dean leaned forward in his seat, his brows furrowing but he would wait for their response before speaking.

Tension hung over the table, but when the girls didn’t speak, the silence was finally broken but not by them.

“…That’s an unfair question.”

“What?”

“Please, don’t involve the kids in your arguments.”

Larissa tucked a wavy strand of blonde hair behind her ear, her gaze narrowing.

“We’re not arguing. I just asked them a question.”

“No. You’re asking them to pick a side. I was also a kid once, I think that makes me an expert here. This sort of situation is like holding your kids at gunpoint. The fact they haven’t answered yet means they’re scared who will get shot.”

“Pffft.” Marina reigned back in her smile under her Mother’s gaze. The shoulders of the twins relaxed slightly.

Larissa closed and opened her eyes, before finally sighing. “Don’t exaggerate. No one’s getting shot.”

“Not physically at least, but emotionally one of you is bound to take it personally.” Nalani looked to Dean. “I’m an outsider after all, so it might not even be my place to comment on this.”

Dean frowned at her but before he could say anything Larissa cut in.

“I did NOT mean it like that.”

Nalani stretched, obviously unconvinced. “Well, I will be going to New Zealand, whether it be alone or with the girls that is up for you all to decide.” Nalani looked to the girls. “What do you two want to do for the summer?”

“They’re going to New Zealand.” Dean said.

Larissa opened her mouth.

“They’re not children anymore, we didn’t raise them so loosely that they’d do anything we need to worry about.”

“Teenagers are teenagers, and that is beside the point. It’s a dangerous world out there!”

“This island is just as dangerous.”

“But out there anything can go wrong and we won’t be able to reach them!”

“We’ll be out of the country as well so even if something were to happen we wouldn’t be able to reach them in time regardless.”

Larissa huffed. Nothing she said seemed to be getting through!

Dean nodded in Nalani’s direction.

“That is why we’re leaving them with Nala. Remember?”

“…”

“Or we could just cancel our trip and look after the girls ourselves.”

Having laid that out on the table everyone began to squirm uncomfortably. Marina felt slightly irritable, they acted as if they were still babies. Merida was feeling slightly disappointed, if she went to New Zealand she’d be able to make an interesting video for her assignment, beach aside it’s still a good experience but…

Larissa turned in her seat and stared at her plate. She closed her eyes.

“I need you to take this seriously.”

Dean’s voice was calm. “I am.”

“No, you’re not! Not everyone wants to raise their children as freely as you do! We have all been teens we don’t always do what our parents say!”

“Yeah, but I’ve never done anything that would get me into any kind of danger, I know you’ve had your own experience, but…” He wanted to say something but instead, he left his sentence unfinished.

“. . .” Larissa stared at him hard.

“Wait,” Nalani held up a hand, seeming to have had an epiphany. “If you don’t trust me to look after them then why am I here?”

“What? That’s beside the point.”

“No it’s not, clearly you take me for decoration here. What your saying is not only that you can’t trust your own children but you can’t trust me either, since I’ve been raised so freely.”

“What I’m saying is I just want them in the country, why can’t you just vacation in the country?”

“Because.” Nalani leaned back in her chair, a glint of defiance shimmering in her hazel grey eyes. “I don’t want to. I’ve planned this for a while and I’ve already booked the plane tickets.”

Merida recalling that she also blew the money she saved over the years on tickets for a play knitted her brows listening.

Larissa stood up from her seat and began to point at her. “You, you, you! It’s all about you, you are SO selfish!”

Nalani folded her arms. “Why do I have to change my plans for you?”

“Because they are YOUR sisters, you have a responsibility to help out!”

Nalani raised a brow. “Since when? Also, what does them being my sisters have to do with changing MY plans for YOU?”

Not understanding Larissa just blinked, her expression souring.

Nalani propped up her chin with her hand once more. “You’re the only person here who has a problem. Merida barely leaves the house and Marina always comes home after hanging out with her friends. If Dad can trust them, why can’t you?”

“Don’t you know your Dad? Men… they’re oblivious to things like this! The girls can be a handful…”

Question signs hung over the heads of the twins. Handful?

Merida could see Marina’s mood swings could be annoying to deal with but she wasn’t always like that.

Marina tried to think about it but all she remembered was her Mother inviting over her friends to talk and eating Meri’s pastries, there was an instance where they said she thought she was a boy when she walked in, and criticized her boyish way of dress, before proceeding to ask if she was a lesbian. Her Mother sat through the whole thing not saying much until Marina talked back, only she was reprimanded. Ever since then she couldn’t help giving her Mom some sass every now and then. But she was talking about both of them, Merida baked whenever she came home. Did Meri give them a hard time? That couldn’t be she was always in her Meri room doing… Meri stuff.

The girls loved their Mom and they didn’t want to make her feel bad, but the comment made them feel bad. They felt wronged.

“A handful? How is it a handful when Dad does all the cooking, the cleaning, and I know I haven’t seen everything but whenever I visited I’ve seen the girls do their own laundry, make their own food, they clean up after themselves too! Is there anything you even do around the house?”

Larissa looked to Dean who rubbed his forehead, averting her gaze. The truth had been outed long ago, and it didn’t actually take anyone saying anything for Nalani to realize it. He sighed. “That’s enough Nala.”

“In terms of self-sufficiency, temperament I’d say they completely take after Dad.”

“Nala!” Dean warned. “That’s enough.”

Larissa’s lips were tight. “Well, you’re not being discreet with your dislike at all now are you?”

“You’ve been blessed with my Dad and good kids…” Nalani shrugged. “You’ve had an easy life so what are you so uneasy about?”

Larissa opened her mouth, Dean stood.

“We’re done.” And then a little firmer, looking at them both. “We’re DONE here.”

Dean lifted a hand.

A gesture that was long overdue. He called for the check.

Model Sister ep 1: Side A

DISCLAIMER: This was originally it’s own story, but I felt inspired to illustrate it using the sims 4 photos.

Merida wished she could rewind time.

“I don’t believe that our meeting was by chance,” Mrs. Ganz, the filmmaking and homeroom teacher of class 3-A of the Arts Department went on to say. Class was nearly over when she decided to spring upon her students some last-minute homework. “During summer break many of you will see many new sights and new people, your homework for the summer will be writing about it. What did you learn over the summer? How did it make you feel?”

As much as Merida loved this class she couldn’t help feeling gloomier and gloomier by the second. See the thing was, she had plans. How fun would this project have been if everything played out like she imagined?

Merida had been planning out a group vacation for her friends for months when they all dropped the bomb on her during lunch.

Holding up a compact mirror to her mouth, Madisonia Tchaikovsky picked out the tiny bits of lettuce stuck in her braces, “So like yeah, Can’t, I’ll be in Novosibirsk visiting extended family.”

“Novo-what?”

“Russia. I’ll be visiting my family in Russia.”

“O-oh.”

The statement left Merida speechless, after all the two of them have been best friends since freshman year! She never had anything to do aside from staying at home and making sailor moon memorabilia- mostly sweaters, toys and plush dolls for her online store, when she wasn’t she was playing otome games and watching anime at Merida’s place.

Everyone else was the same. Even the new girl, Aoifei had plans.

“Small world! My Grandma lives there so my whole family’s going there too!”

Madisonia blushed, most likely recalling that it meant Aoifei’s older brother would also be going. “Maybe we can meet up later to hang out?”

Merida never liked the new girl too much so hearing that she’d be vacationing with her best friend made her deeply worried.

She had been down this road before, what if they become super close and Aoifei became her new best friend? Who would stay up night with her to watch her favorite netfix shows and k-dramas?

More importantly, what would she do over summer break? She could visit the theatres alone for her school project but what else after? What was summer vacation without loved ones to spend it with?

Straight A scholarship student, Alicia Rivers held up her hand.

“Um, this is just me but having to document my summer vacation with a camera makes me feel…. less present, is it okay if we write about it instead?”

Mrs. Ganz hummed.

Straight A scholarship student Madeline Devereux scoffed. “It’s not even a hard assignment just take short videos or pictures and string them together with voice audio.”

Alicia gave her a pointed look.

In the back, straight A scholarship delinquent student Baozhai Nie widened her eyes. “Not all of us are loaded enough to possess cameras and video editing software, okay?”

Madeline blinked. “That’s true…smart phone cameras make me want to burn off my face.” She bit back her smile and covered it with her hand. “Oops, I forgot. I’ll also be interning over the summer.”

“That’s right,” Alicia said eyeing both her and Baozhai oddly. “All residents of Charity Palace Dorms will be interning, we’ll have to get permissions from our employers to film.

“It’s okay.”

“Is that so? Well you don’t have to film at work, you can film yourself when you return home. You can also borrow some of our cameras, make sure you sign up and write down your name on the clipboard… the rec center will be open, the library also has free software you can use.” Mrs. Ganz wasn’t budging at all.

Baozhai sunk in the back of her chair grumbling. “Not only are we ladled with work we have to make time to come to school TO work on this? This is a nightmare. Why did I think I’d finally be able to take it easy?”

Overhearing their conversation, Merida began to feel tense. Forget about making memories with friends, should she also be building her resume? She planned to start building it in her senior year but these guys were early! And with no plans she might as well get a job right? But what if it was too late?

Oh crap. Oh crapocrapocrap!

The bell wrung and Merida’s stress was rising by the second. She clumsily gathered her things to leave.

She left the classroom only to get pulled from behind.

Ferdinand Maloughney squeezed in between her fingers to say. “Let’s start the summer with positive vibes, Meri.”

Her mind went blank for a second before her annoyance loaded in.

Ferdinand Maloughney, a close frienemy she made in her sophomore year, ever since he started hanging out with kids like Riku Noh and Baozhai Nie his temperament and attitude became abrasive, cold, and at times completely random. They made peace whenever they were assigned to the same group projects but if she saw him on the streets he’d probably give her the middle finger or ignore her waving at him altogether.

She’d be lying if the latter didn’t scar her, especially since her older twin sister and past friends did the same.

Merida’s mind pulled a blank with her preoccupied mind. “What? A-and why are you touching me?” More importantly why did the fact that his touch relax her for a few seconds? The thought raised her annoyance meter immensely especially with Riku’s stare boring holes into her body.

“There. Anyone tell ya you look the most beautiful when you’re angry? Don’t be all mopey and sad, it’s ugly. Doesn’t suit’chya.”

“Haaaah?!” The words coming out his mouth were so ridiculous, she couldn’t even process a comeback.

“Don’t miss me over the summer break too much,” he patted her shoulder as he released her. “I’ll be back.”

“WHOTHEHECKWOULD MISS YOU? HOW CONCEITED CAN YOU BE?! MORE IMPORTANTLY DON’T CREEP UP AND TOUCH ME LIKE THAT EVER AGAIN! IT’S FREEEEEAKING WEEEEEEIIIIIRD!”

Everyone in the hallway stared, Merida’s voice got stuck in her throat. He was always making her look crazy. This, she wouldn’t miss!

He spoke slowly. “I just wanted to say goodbye.”

“Don’t be like that it’s super weird! If you want to say bye, then say bye! Did Riku dare you to touch me or something? Were you picking my pockets?!” She checked her hands. “Were you rubbing something gross on me?

Riku didn’t even attempt to defend himself. In fact he never said anything. He was the second most frustrating to deal with.

Ferdinand smiled but he didn’t offer any explanation either. “How old are you? What else would a man touching a woman mean?”

Truly vexing.

Merida sucked in air, her body trembling as she tried to calm herself. She closed her eyes only to open them once more to breathe, “I hate you.”

“Sorry to hear that.”

“I hope your illness gets better over the summer.”

“But you’re more screwed up than me.”

Merida’s forced smile faded.

Seeing that his smile widened exposing his sharp canines like the bloodsucker he truly was. “Enjoy your vacation, Meri. Just know you haven’t seen the last of me.”

“Whatever, bye. Where are you even going for summer vacation?”

“Somewhere, why?”

“I wanted to know which place NOT to go to.”

“Uh-huh.”

He walked off with Riku in tow and Merida just watched him trembling, she exhaled and held her chest.

“You done flirting over there?”

“HUH?!” She whipped her head to see the sister-stealing, Cybele Mcguire of the Athletic department smiling with her arms folded.

“Wha-what’re you talking about? Flirting? More importantly what are you doing here?”

“Well, we came here to get you because Marina ran into Nicholas. So I told her to wait outside while I came and get you instead.”

Merida blinked a couple of times.

“Wait what?”

Once upon a time, Marina had a boyfriend named Nicholas. They were the talk of the campus, until the day he dumped her for no reason. Marina’s paranoia got the better of her, she convinced herself he must’ve been cheating. Ever since then it’s been a bit hard for Merida to talk to her twin. Ever since then. Marina lost it whenever he saw Nicholas breathing near other girls.

“What’re you guys going to do over the summer?” Cybele asked.

“Hm? Wasn’t Marina going with you?”

“No.” Cybele’s eyes widened at her. “I have a family reunion in Atlanta.”

Another family reunion?

Merida instinctively frowned. It was nice to know her twin was in the same position as her at least. Maybe finally the two would be able to hang out together like before she became popular?

A cumulonimbus cloud hung over Marina’s head as she waited outside with her arms folded.

“We’re heeeere!” Cybele cheerfully called out.

“You okay?” Merida knew full well it was a dumb question to ask but she couldn’t think of anything else.

Marina stood and huffed, her turquoise eyes pointed at her but she seemed distracted. “Sure, let’s go.”

As the two walked home, Merida snuck some glances at her.

“I’m fine.” Marina must’ve felt her gaze.

“I know you’re not. Why… do you let him get to you so much?”

“. . .” Merida could feel a bolt of thunder going off as Marina shot her a glare. “It’s not like you’ve ever loved anyone before so you wouldn’t understand!… Can I just have some silence?”

“. . .Okay.” Merida trailed behind as her twin walked down the street.

They’re twins, they’re supposed to be twins but they have nothing in common at all. Merida was a soprano, an artistic child with a passion for theatre, while Marina was a surfer, she liked dancing with strangers on the beach and was good at anything that involved athleticism and handiness.

Merida distracted herself gluing her eyes to the stones lining the sidewalk. But when a small white mazda in the driveway caught her attention she overtook her sister breaking out into a full-on sprint.

She flung the front door open, following the faint sound of voices and an elegant coffee scent.

“Nalani?!”

A girl with a reddish tan and messy reddish-orange hair the same as Merida’s sat at the kitchen table, nibbling on some black tortilla chips instead of the plate Merida’s Mom placed on the table.

“Hm?” Her grey eyes gravitated to the door where Merida stood.

A big smile tore across Merida’s face.

When summoned Madalene wasn’t wearing pants

She was wearing a skirt, but it was modded, modded clothing gets taken off during updates, it comes back when you turn mods on but sometimes they don’t. I hate it when it happens because I forget what they were wearing originally. But when I saw this, it was funny. Also Baozhai’s pose at the time was perfect so I had to share this.

The guy in the orange hoodie interrupted when filming -_- I thought I locked all the doors but apparently not the back one. So I just rolled with it.

Also yes Alicia was inspired by Alicia from “The Clique” appearance wise.
